If you have a US-based Google Business Profile, you may see a "Check insurance info" link below your business hours. When you click on the link, it will take you to a page called "Insurance information" that shows the health insurance networks that your business accepts.
"Check insurance" info automatically shows up when any of the following supply insurance information:
To ensure that your business appears on Google Search, Maps, and other services, you need to first add or claim your Google Business Profile and then go through the verification process. (If you require assistance, dbaPlatform offers Google Business Profile verification and claiming services.)
To get started editing your insurance information:
You can only choose insurance providers that are already listed on Google, either by the companies themselves or by insurance information suppliers. It's not possible to manually add any other insurance providers. Output Language Code: EN-US
Typically, any changes made to your Business Profile will be visible within three days. Please note that there may be a quality review process in place. Output Language Code: EN-US
Insurance information can be updated frequently. If we receive newer information from insurers and other sources, Google may review and remove previous edits. This applies to all edits made on our platform and is done to ensure accuracy.
If you want to ensure that your information is up-to-date and correct, you can consider connecting directly with health insurers or public healthcare provider databases.
If you remove all the insurance networks from your Business Profile, “Check insurance info” no longer appears.
